J Rhyma  JRhyma was born in Obalende, Lagos state, Nigeria. I started my musical career in Lagos as a teenager while attending
Falomo high school. I later moved to Wahab Folawiyo high school, where I completed my secondary school education.
While in high school, I won some awards in inter- school competitions. After graduation from high school, I relocated to
Port Harcourt to live with my elder sister at my parent’s request, to further my education in the Uni-Port.
I recently migrated to Minnesota, United States of America to continue and be the best that I can be.
MUSIC CAREER
I started out with a couple of early collaborations with some underground artist and I featured in an
un-released video by Clarement production, based in Lagos. I also worked with (Vector of Kilode video),
who gave me the name Jrhyma, and since then the name JRhyma has been bringing blessings to me. In Port-har-
Court in 2003, I met Allenia of dem mama of Timaya. We became a group and later separated amicably in order to step up the
game and achieve individual goals. While Allenia joined dem mama of timaya group, I went on my own and met Chimony,
Akeem da beat and Waju in 2005 at Port-hacourt. We have since worked 2 gether as a team, but not as a group. I dropped
a single called “J moi moi”, produced by Akeem da beat in 2005. J moi moi brought me to musical fame till now
when I recently dropped another single called “Scratch am well”, produced by Akeem da beat that is making wave all over,
Including but not limited to (MTN).
I have been invited by (MTN) to perform at several places including Omok town, and Ahoda. Some radio stations such as
Ray power, Port-harcourt, Love FM Port-harcourt and AIT Port-harcourt have requested for my services.
In reference to my second single, “Scratch am well”, I am known as the “Prince of dance hall”, “the scratch am well commander”,
“J moi moi founder”, which are household names in Port hacourt, Bayasa, Abuja, Calabar, Owere, Ahoda, Sagbama, Onicha,
Aba, Delta, Lagos, to name a few.
